Every mower in the city must have been out cutting grass around Lake Nokomis and Minnehaha Parkway this morning. Ostensibly they're trying to make things look good for the Aquatennial triathlon this weekend--an NBC Sports trailer is already parked at the scene.
Here's a tip: If you wait so long between mowings that the grass clippings laying on the ground look like hay waiting to be baled--it doesn't look that good.
