Yesterday was Katherine's 11th birthday and she did not receive her invitation to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For those of you not in the know (like, duh, how can you be so lame - eyeroll), girls and boys who have magical powers like Harry Potter get their admissions letter from said school on their 11th birthday. Katherine has mentioned this a few times over the last couple of months. And while the tone of her voice suggested that she was kidding, one could also detect the faintest bit of hope that it might actually come true. Oh well. She did get the latest Harry Potter video game at least.
