On the mend
While we were recouperating from various stages of malaise on Tuesday, Mr. FL & I saw this fashion segment on the Today show. The outfit I found particularly interesting is about a minute and a half in. It's the "Practice with the Kids"--what you'd wear to your kids' soccer practice.
Would you not become the laughing stock of your kid's team if you showed up in that? I don't know where these stylists' kids practice soccer, but those cute little sandals would be covered in mud at our field. And I'm pretty sure that I'd be afraid to bend down or sit in my folding chair for fear that the mid-thigh length dress would expose a little too much of me. I'm all for looking your best and it's a cute outfit, but come on.
BTW, our resident accountant mentally tabulated the costs for the outfits while watching. He thought the segment was a scam since most of the outfits were over $100.
